Thanks to everyone for a smooth annual meeting. We covered plenty of topics in some detail but kept to a reasonable time. And again extra thanks to Judy P. for hosting the picnic! New board members are Sam C. and Kris G., thanks to both for participating (and thanks to Dan for agreeing to run for a 2nd term).
Planning to have a board meeting with the new board on Aug 27th, 9am at Dan’s home. Agenda will be: review of annual meeting, update on insurance, update on water measurement system and costs, roadwork and upcoming plan for snow plowing.
Kris G. captured this image of a bear in the neighborhood on June 6. Thanks for sharing Kris!
Reminder that our annual meeting is scheduled for July 23, 2016 at 1:00PM at the Sangre De Cristo community meeting room (with picnic to follow, resident Judy P. has graciously offered to host, thanks Judy!). We have 3 board members with 3-year terms expiring. One of the members will run again, so we need at least 2 new board members to fill the 5 member board of directors. Please let us know if you are interested.
We are also planning to have a board meeting June 20, 7pm, location in the neighborhood at OBrien or Dunn house.
Notice to MLMEPOA members, tentative plan for a board meeting on February 22, 2016, hosted at Daly house.
Rough agenda will be: Budget/balance sheet update, Water – flume/measurement device including updates from forest service, water commissioner, and payment — roads report.
Thank you road committee and everyone who has helped with snow/plowing!
Wishing everyone happiness and prosperity in the New Year! Thanks to all for your kindness and willingness to help make Meadow Lakes Mountain Estates a beautiful place to live.
Reminder for board meeting 9/5 at Daly’s 10:45 am, following building committee meeting. John measured McFadden creek flow (Aug 28) at 0.024 CFS (took 28 sec. to fill bucket). Contracted road work is planned for this fall. Have a great end of summer and colorful fall season!
Annual meeting reminder, and picnic post-meeting (~5pm) at Daly’s – please bring a dish to share, grills + plates/forks etc will be there!
McFadden creek flow still going strong, about 67 gal/min (0.15 CFS):
See you soon!

Hello MLMEPOA members, welcome to spring (winter??) You might have heard we had a big snow (nearly 20″) last week (April 16-17) – a bit inconvenient for getting around (and trash pickup) but we’ll take the extra water, nice to get a good soaking before warmer weather returns. It is time to record our spring 2015 water meter readings (Oct 15 and April 15 are the dates to record between “summer/irrigation” and “winter” seasons). Please enter a reading at your earliest opportunity (or the next time you or someone visiting are able to read the meter). If you haven’t used your well since last October then drop me a note and I can update the April reading with the same number.
Click the “Water Meters” tab on the main page. Water Meters Then enter your name, lot number, and meter reading (including the trailing zero(s) if needed). Then click the “Submit” button.
Thanks everyone, have a great springtime and travel safely!
(Also early reminder, annual meeting & picnic planned for July 25, 2015)
Happy New Year MLMEPOA members and friends! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year’s holiday. We had plenty of snow over the last couple of weeks in December which made for a fun white Christmas and some great skiing and winter activities. Thanks again to Larry and John along with the Cordovas and Wilders for keeping the roads plowed and passable. We are planning to have a board meeting on Monday Jan 26th 7PM (Daly’s house), please let one of the board members know if you’d like to attend.
